So I was watching In Her Shoes the other day their just so happens to be a wedding scene in it and it just got me thinking. It was myself, Lauren, Rachel, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Charleigh watching it and I was thinking about how all of us one day would have a proposal, a wedding, the whole hooplah and we would be married. How strange is that? I mean this will occur within 5-10 years. I mean, it is not so strange that we will get married, but it is who we will get married to that is just killin me. Think about it; Rachel is the only one of us who is dating at the moment and the majority of us have never even dated, so the liklihood that we will marry someone we know is very very slim. So that means we have not yet met the person we are going to spend the rest of our lives with. I just think that it is all very weird.
In case you don't know yet, before I get married I will have dated a skater-boy because I think they are totally cool. But I am going to marry the guitarist from either Steven Curtis Chapman's band or from Jason Elam's band. Either will work. And if either of them happen to be skaters, we can kill two birds with one stone.
So, pretty much, I really like this chica:
She likes me too.
So I can't decide: Do I like the "on-the-edge-punk-rock-skater" boy or the "sweet-southern-hard-working-gentlemanly" boy. Not that I have two real life ones to choose from, but if I ever get caught in a sticky situation I would like to be prepared. Personally, I would like the two to be combined. Allthough my punk-rocker doesn't have to be southern.
Does anyone know the title of the song that...is really cool...Carleton dances to it a lot in Fresh Prince, it is also in Drumline. Its jut this old school rap song. But you know old school rap, its not the same as new school rap. Thats why I like old school rap. I kid, I kid...everyone knows I like rap. Good to dance to, you see. But never think you like a song and then go up to the kareoke mic with two Grace Christianers and sing anything done by 50 Cent. You will just be sitting up there silent b/c all the words on the screen will look like this: ****
I speak no lies!
I love the song When the Stars Go Blue. But not so much when Tim McGraw sings it. I guess that he didn't get the memo about it being a duet. Or about it not being a country song. Or about how he doesn't sound good doing it.
I've come up with a great theme for a big party: 1980s Prom Night. That would totally make my life brighter. Carrie Bradshaw gave me the idea. I think it is a must.
Well friends...peace, love and rock-n-roll.
